Individual Volunteer Opportunity: CASA Advocacy and Volunteer Opportunities
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are appointed by judges to support children in foster care. They meet regularly with their assigned child, consult with professionals, and gather information from families and placements, spending about 10–12 hours per month. General volunteers also help CASA through events, committees, and donation drives.

The Dogwood House is seeking a compassionate and mission-driven Survivor Advocacy & Trauma-Informed Board Member to help support organizational leadership, survivor-centered practices, and long-term program development for women rebuilding their lives after trafficking and exploitation.
Help strengthen a faith-based transitional housing nonprofit through trauma-informed leadership and advocacy for survivors of trafficking and exploitation in the Kansas City metro.
