What began in 2001 as a summer camp to offer local students the opportunity to study and perform chamber music, Heartland Chamber Music has grown into an organization that has inspired students as diverse as physicians, professional symphony musicians and groups of ethnically and racially diverse preschoolers in low socioeconomic neighborhoods throughout our community.
Our programming philosophy mirrors that of chamber music; quality over quantity, small student-artist ratio, and engaging performing artists who have a heart for teaching. This ideal gives everyone a chance to connect with artists without limitation of age, skill level or socioeconomic background.
