Paleontologist Carl David Frailey taught anatomy and physiology at the college level for over 30 years, introducing hundreds of doctors and nurses to the world of human biology. He is the author or coauthor of over 40 articles and papers.

Carl took part in numerous zoological expeditions to the Amazon basin and once discovered the largest crocodile that ever lived.

Derek Scherer serves as Chief Technology Officer and a Director of the Optimalist Technology Foundation.  He has worked as a professional computer engineer since 2005.

In 2017, he found his calling while developing VR software, ultimately walking away from a lucrative career to found Corpusim, the infinitely explorable organism simulator for medicine, biology, and education. Corpusim aligns Derek's interest in health and his obsession with 3D Interactive Graphics.

Julia is a connector.

As an educator, she has connected people with new ideas and skills for over 30 years; as a fundraiser, she connects those seeking to support worthy technological endeavors with organizations who need such support to grow and thrive.

In her prior position as director of development for The Friends of Chamber Music, she built warm, mutually beneficial relationships with individual, corporate, foundation, and major donors as well as with government funders. She is delighted to apply those skills in a new context.
