Introducing: REVEAL Works
We are so excited to introduce you to a new RS program called REVEAL Works!
This trauma-informed workforce development program pairs the REVEAL Program’s healing support with paid training at Thelma’s Kitchen — offering living wages, hands-on experience, and a bus-line location for neighbors re-entering the workforce.
We could not be more excited for our first cohort of six members, who began earlier this month. They'll spend the next six months learning from our chefs, who will equip them with the training and skills needed to succeed in the culinary world. We cannot wait to see them succeed!

Changes to RS Volunteer Program
| As our programs continue to grow, we are thoughtfully reshaping our volunteer program to better support paid employment and long-term stability for participants in the REVEAL Works program. This evolution reflects our commitment to building sustainable outcomes that align with our mission. Volunteers are still essential, especially in roles focused on skill-sharing, and community connection. We are excited to have launched new projects as well! New at RS: Parenting Support Group
We’re excited to introduce the REVEAL Program’s new parenting support group!
Beginning in February, therapist Mark Hillenbrand and the REVEAL Team will offer a safe, supportive space for parents to connect, learn, and feel empowered. Parenting is hard enough on its own — and when compounded by the barriers many of our neighbors face, community and shared experience become essential. This group reflects what REVEAL does best: listening deeply and responding with care that truly meets people where they are. |
