As the season of gratitude and togetherness begins, we’re reminded that giving comes in many forms. Whether it’s sharing time, resources, or making a financial contribution. At Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council, we’re celebrating the spirit of giving by uplifting the ways we can support one another and make the holidays brighter for all. We’re currently accepting donations of nonperishable food items for our Thanksgiving Giveaway and weekly food distributions, as well as toys for our upcoming Holiday Toy Giveaway. No financial donation is too big or too small; every dollar counts. We also warmly welcome volunteers to join us in these efforts, your time and energy make all the difference! Together, every act of giving helps strengthen Ivanhoe.

We are preparing for our annual Thanksgiving Food Giveaway and calling on the community to help ensure every family has a warm and plentiful meal this season. We are currently in need of canned goods,  and other nonperishable items to meet the growing demand.
 
This year, our efforts are being proudly supported by Council Member Melissa Patterson-Hazley and Keys Realty Group, who have partnered with us to offer three convenient donation drop-off locations.
Donation Locations:
  • Ivanhoe Neighborhood Center – 3700 Woodland Ave, KCMO
    Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
  • Keys Realty Group – 5737 Swope Parkway, KCMO
    Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (Weekend drop-offs can be scheduled)
  • KCMO City Hall (22nd Floor)
    Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
