Volunteer Hours: 

• Tuesday: 8:00am–12:30pm, 11:00am–2:00pm 

• Wednesday: 8:00am–12:30pm, 11:00am–2:00pm 

• Thursday: 8:00am–12:30pm, 11:00am–2:00pm 

• Saturday: 8:00am–12:30pm, 11:00am–2:00pm

About Flourish Furniture Bank: 
Flourish Furniture Bank is Kansas City’s only furniture bank, serving families and individuals across Kansas and Missouri. Our 49,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom in Grandview, Missouri, is filled with furniture and household goods generously donated by local businesses and residents. We upcycle these items, transforming them into essential resources for our neighbors in need. Through a personalized and supportive shopping experience, we empower guests to choose the furnishings that best fit their needs and preferences, completely free of charge. 

Merchandising Team Volunteer Responsibilities: 

 As part of the Merchandising Team, you’ll use your keen eye for detail and trauma-informed mindset to thoughtfully stock and arrange household items on our showroom shelves. Your goal is to create an inviting, accessible, and dignified shopping experience for every guest, taking care to consider the needs and backgrounds of families who may be starting over after difficult circumstances. This role is perfect for those who want to combine creativity and compassion, ensuring our clients feel welcome, respected, and empowered as they select items for their new homes. Your thoughtful arrangements help turn everyday necessities into moments of comfort and hope.
