BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY The primary role of the Community Engagement Specialist is to provide KC STEM Alliance programs with volunteer support across programs. As an independent initiative of the UMKC School of Science and Engineering, the mission of the KC STEM Alliance is, together with our partners, to inspire and interest in science, technology, engineering, and math careers to generate a robust workforce.
