New Board Members

BikeWalkKC’s Board of Directors are community leaders with a passion for making Greater Kansas City a safer and more welcoming place for people who walk, bike, and roll. The Board Nominating Committee identifies future director candidates with strong leadership skills and experience in helping nonprofit organizations execute strategy and development plans.

The organization is a regional and national leader in the fields of advocacy, public policy, education, community planning, and shared use mobility. We enjoy a growing base of loyal supporters and diversified funding base. In June 2026 we hope to add 3-4 individuals who can help us expand our partnerships with a broader pool of individual and institutional supporters who share our mission to redefine KC’s streets as places to build a culture of active living.
