Join the Platte Land Trust Board
Protecting land for future generations. Leaving a legacy.
The Platte Land Trust (PLT) is filling open positions on the Board of Directors in 2026. Your enthusiasm, creativity and commitment can help shape a healthier and more sustainable future for the planet we share.
PLT is a regional conservation organization partnering with landowners to protect open spaces and natural resources in western Missouri and eastern Kansas for the benefit of nature and people. PLT is an all-volunteer, nationally accredited organization serving landowners since 1998.
Board service is a great way to have an immediate and long-lasting impact on your community while leveraging your talents, experience and passion for nature. The position allows you an active role in shaping a healthier and more sustainable future for your community. In addition, you can build upon your professional and personal skills, expand your circle of influence while helping guide meaningful work.
Skills and experience most needed include organization management, volunteer coordination, legal (contracts and real estate), and fundraising.
