Looking for New Waldo Committee Members (Ambassadors, Marketing, Property and Security)
Are you passionate about Waldo? Do you live, work or play in our neighborhood and have ideas to make our community better? We are looking for new committee members!
Ambassadors Committee
Note: You must be an active Waldo Area Business Association (WABA) member to have voting rights and a seat on a committee. Businesses within the CID have automatic WABA membership.
- Designed to welcome new businesses, support existing ones, and build community. Currently meets on the last Wednesday of each month at 12pm.
- Exists to plan events, promote openings, publicize our community, and build awareness of the Waldo area. Meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 330pm.
- Manages our grant offerings, tracks local projects, supports the needs of business/property owners. Advocates with City/County staff and leadership to prioritize Waldo projects, protect businesses, and more. Meets on the third Thursday of each month at 1230pm.
- Utilizes relationships with KCPD and our security team to track crime stats, blind spots, etc. Advocates with City/County for needs of business community. Meets on the third Friday of each month at 830am.
