The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art – Kansas City, MO

The Nelson-Atkins seeks a Coordinator to support its Interpretation & Adult Programs team. This position provides vital administrative, operational, and project support to ensure the smooth delivery of interpretive initiatives and adult programming.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for programs and projects, including scheduling, meetings, and deadlines.

  • Maintain accurate records, compile data, and assist with reporting.

  • Support budget tracking, contracts, invoices, and reimbursements.

  • Assist with engagement of community partners and stakeholders.

  • Contribute ideas for visitor engagement and help evaluate programs.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or customer service.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Salary Range: $46,762 – $52,653 annually

Primarily weekdays, with occasional evenings/weekends for programs.
