The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Manager, Society of Fellows to support the growth and engagement of its premier individual membership program.
This role plays a key part in implementing membership strategies, coordinating events, and supporting relationships with members and volunteer leadership. Working closely with Development leadership, the Manager contributes to membership and revenue goals by delivering high-quality programs, communications, and member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support membership acquisition, renewal, and retention efforts
- Coordinate and execute member events and engagement opportunities
- Assist with Society of Fellows Board communications and meeting coordination
- Develop and manage member communications and outreach
- Maintain accurate data and reporting in CRM systems (Tessitura preferred)
- Collaborate with Development, Marketing, and Events teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4–6 years in fundraising, membership, or donor engagement
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience working with volunteers or donor communities
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Tessitura preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $71,173 – $80,093 annually
