Job Title: Director of Member Services
FLSA Status: Exempt
Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with flex time available

Strategic Planning:
Unleash your creativity by designing and implementing innovative strategies that support our incredible membership base. Your vision will be the driving force behind our growth.
Enhancing the Member Experience:
Craft engaging programs, educational resources, and networking opportunities that ensure every member feels like an integral part of our vibrant community. Create moments that resonate and inspire.
Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and executing extraordinary FSMTB events, meetings, and conferences that our members eagerly anticipate.
Feedback Analysis:
Dive into member feedback and surveys to uncover insights that will help us continuously improve our offerings. Your analytical skills will be key to enhancing satisfaction and driving positive change.
Customer Service Excellence:
Set the standard for member support by delivering timely, professional, and personalized assistance. Be the friendly, knowledgeable resource our members can always count on.
Team Collaboration:
Partner seamlessly with our marketing, events, and communications teams to ensure that membership initiatives align with our broader organizational goals.
Relationship Building:
Forge strong connections with members, partner organizations, and industry stakeholders.
Budget Management:
Take charge of our membership budget with expertise, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to support engagement initiatives.
Advocacy for Members:
Be the champion of our members’ voices, passionately promoting their interests both within the organization and to external audiences.
Programmatic Support:
Support a range of FSMTB programs, from MBLEx® to CE Registry™ and other programs and services. Your contributions will enhance our initiatives and uplift the entire massage therapy regulatory community.
Volunteer Engagement:
Take the lead on developing and deploying year-round volunteer engagement and appreciation.

Education/Experience
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
Desired Experience:
Proven experience in membership management—ideally in a nonprofit or association environment.
Familiarity with the massage therapy industry and its regulatory landscape is highly desirable.
Experience with Association Management Systems and a strong understanding of membership engagement best practices.
