Job Overview:
The Partnership Assistant will be responsible for providing support for IAAP’s Organizational Membership and general Membership program, as well as partnership and sponsorship initiatives. This role will assist in building, maintaining, and stewarding relationships with members, partners, sponsors, and strategic collaborators. Working closely with the Partnership Manager, this position will assist with seamless execution of partnership deliverables, provide administrative support, and contribute to the growth of IAAP’s partner portfolio.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Coordination

  • Support the Partnership Manager in managing day-to-day partner communications for organizational membership member management
  • Maintain accurate records of partnership agreements, deliverables, and timelines
  • Assist with scheduling partner meetings, calls, and follow-up

Events and Program Support

  • Coordinate partnership deliverables for IAAP events and conferences
  • Track and assist with organizing partner benefits (logos, ads, materials) for use in marketing and program
  • Provide on-site or virtual support to ensure sponsor/partner activations run smoothly

Communication and Engagement

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure partners are featured in communications
  • Draft and proofread partner-related content (emails, flyers, web updates)
  • Monitor partner engagement across IAAP platforms to ensure visibility and alignment
Administrative Support
  • Assist in preparing reports on partnership activities and deliverables
  • Provide membership database management (records management, payment support, invoicing, reporting)
  • Gather partner feedback forms and summarize responses

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience providing administrative support, including data entry and customer service support
  • Comfortability employing innovative and strategic thinking while balancing tactics and tasks
  • Experience with CRM software, Microsoft programs, and Project Management Software
  • Ability for up to 5% domestic travel.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse groups of individuals (internal team members, external customers and vendors, board members, etc.)
  • Ensures understanding by asking clarifying questions and restates understanding for confirmation.
