Shelter Care Coordination Manager

Rose Brooks Center, a nonprofit domestic violence agency, is currently seeking a full-time Manager of Housing Case Management. This position is responsible for providing leadership and management to the Shelter Case Managers, Children’s Case Manager, and Child & Family Specialist prioritizing safety and addressing the unique needs of adult and child survivors of domestic violence served by Rose Brooks Center’s emergency shelter program. Ensure case management and economic empowerment services are consistent with Rose Brooks Center’s principles of trauma informed care, accessibility, quality assurance indicators and targets for outcomes and productivity. Partner with the Director of Residential Services on quality programming and improvements. This position is responsible for the personnel and program supervision of the Shelter Case Managers, Children’s Case Manager, and the Child & Family Specialist and their services for assisting survivors of domestic violence. This position is responsible for providing case management services when there is an open case management position.  This position reports to the Director of Residential Services.   • Perform functions of job according to agency policies and procedures.
  • Attend scheduled staff and team meetings; participate in all required trainings.
Qualifications:
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Two years case management and advocacy experience, preferably working with vulnerable populations in a domestic violence agency and/or commensurate experience
  • One year of supervisory and/or leadership experience and/or commensurate combination of education and experience
  • Program development/management experience and/or project management experience
  • Experience providing training and consultation related to domestic violence dynamics and policies   
  • Thorough knowledge of best practices and domestic violence dynamics 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and motivate others; experience in developing and maintaining strong collaborations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including training and facilitation skills 
  • Proven time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Proficient use of MS Office/Windows operating system, client services database systems (preferably HMIS-comparable)
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance 
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling, or a related field or commensurate; courses or classwork related to human services, social work, etc. is preferred and not required; master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Coordinated Entry System and administering HUD grants preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, verbal and written
Hours: This is a full-time, exempt position and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday days, but may include some evening and weekend hours.

Compensation: This position falls into a salary range starting at $53,000 annually (exempt).
