Fall 2026 Fabric Grab
It's that time again! We are hosting a Fabric Grab on Saturday, August 22nd . We need your help with setup, during, and cleanup of the event. Choose the roles you would like to work below. You can sign up for multiple shifts! Questions? Email volunteer@thesewinglabs.org. Volunteers receive 4 pounds of fabric free, a $20 value!
Day-of Event Instructions for Volunteers
7:30 am shift:
For this pre-sale shift: Come to The Sewing Labs door, ring the doorbell, and ask for Drew Daly or Katie Winchell to get started. You will need to check in on Civic Champs for your shift; you can do this from your phone via CivicChamps app or use an iPad at the Labs. If you are a regular volunteer and have a Sewing Labs t-shirt, you're encouraged to wear it!
10 am shift:
Special instructions for this shift: Enter the main gym doors and check in at the Welcome station. They will have a duty roster and volunteer aprons to get you started! If you are a regular volunteer and have a Sewing Labs t-shirt, you're encouraged to wear it.
