Sandwiched KC is a 501(c3) nonprofit that has stood beside family caregivers in the Kansas City metro since 2018, offering free coaching, support groups, education, and connection to local resources. As we enter a pivotal chapter of strategic growth, we're building a board that matches our momentum.

Volunteers help KC Mothers in Charge stay connected with families impacted by homicide through follow-up phone calls and community outreach events. Your support helps ensure families know they are not forgotten and that help remains available.

Members of the Board of Directors serve as fiduciaries and strategic leaders of Pet Resource Center of Kansas City (PRCKC). The Board is responsible for ensuring the organization’s long-term sustainability, mission alignment, and financial health. Board Members provide governance, oversight, and strategic direction—with responsibility for day-to-day operations resting with the Executive Director and staff.

The American Cancer Society's Kansas City Chairman’s Circle (CC) is intended to provide a diverse executive leadership forum for advancing the our life-saving mission. This advocacy includes assisting ACS staff by promoting program priorities and informing the public about ACS organizational priorities. Chairman’s Circle members will be asked to assist by advancing mission priorities, securing financial support, recognizing key contributors and building relationships with community leaders.

MOCSA exists to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. MOCSA Volunteers help make our mission possible by helping in the hospital, over the phone, and in the classroom.

Platte Land Trust (PLT) is a regional conservation organization partnering with landowners since 1998 to protect and conserve their land for wildlife, agriculture, and recreation. We partner with voluntary landowners and use conservation easements as the primary real estate tool. PLT is currently an all volunteer organization and working to hire staff in the near future. NCircle seeks a Board Member with expertise in fund development to support the organization’s growth and long-term sustainability.

Front Porch Alliance is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to serve on its Board of Directors. Board members play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission by providing strategic oversight, ensuring financial health, and actively supporting resource development through fundraising and community engagement.

The 38th Annual CCVI Trolley Run is returning to the streets of Waldo, Brookside, and the Country Club Plaza on Sunday, April 26th. We are in need of 30 volunteers to serve as Course Marshals at this year's race. Course Marshals make the event possible by assisting police in keeping intersections closed to traffic along the race route, providing enthusiasm for our runners and walkers and assisting runners/walkers in distress by calling medical support (if necessary).

Each day more than 10 Community Food Partners pick up rescued produce from Kanbe's to bring back to their organizations and serve members of the Kansas City community. This opportunity is a great way to work face to face with those feeding our neighbors! We are looking for individuals to join us daily in assisting our operations team in preparing food pallets and loading Community Food Partners vehicles out of our warehouse space.
