College & Career Liaison

PREP-KC is seeking a College & Career Liaison to manage online college and career experiences. You will actively coach school staff, coordinate volunteers, and facilitate virtual programs that give students meaningful exposure to professional pathways and real-world learning.

About the Role:
As a Virtual College & Career Liaison, you will:

• Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and engagement through PREP-KC's virtual platforms, including The Connector.

• Coordinate virtual student experiences, webinars, and interactive sessions that connect students with industry professionals.

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community members to ensure equitable access and impactful experiences.

• Provide coaching to educators on managing virtual volunteers and integrating industry interactions into student learning.

• Capture feedback and data to measure engagement and inform program improvements.

• Support preparation, facilitation, and follow-up for all virtual events to ensure smooth execution.

Who You Are:

• A relationship builder who seeks to create, foster, and maintain a network of key individuals to support college and career work. 

• Comfortable and experienced connecting directly with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners.

• Skilled at coaching, facilitation, and collaboration to help adults implement high-quality student experiences.

• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and timelines in a virtual environment.

• Committed to equity and preparing students attending urban schools for meaningful postsecondary opportunities.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and online platforms; experience with CRM or volunteer management systems is a plus.

• Access to reliable transportation is a must.
