Volunteer as an Ambassador at Kansas City Invention Convention!

Are you passionate about supporting STEM initiatives for Kansas City youth? Sign up to volunteer at KCIC 2026 and become part of Kansas City’s invention community! 

At KCIC, our student inventors develop creative solutions to real-world problems— some of which may impact your own life! We welcome volunteer ambassadors from all walks of life to support students, educators, and staff throughout the day. Ambassadors should be adults who are comfortable interacting with elementary, middle school, and high school students. You will be our representatives, keeping things running smoothly on the competition floor, helping young inventors find their assigned places, setting up their displays, and preparing to compete. During the competition, ambassadors support students by keeping the competition floor free of guests and assisting judges with keeping students engaged during the judging process. 

Competition day is Thursday, April 16th, with a time commitment of 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
