Company: Public Television 19, Inc.
Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer
Classification: Hourly / Non-Exempt Wage: $20/Hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Part-Time Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our station. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for visitors and callers while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, greeting visitors warmly and assisting with inquiries.
• Answer and direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Manage and distribute customer service emails.
• Assist with mail services, including FedEx and UPS shipments.
• Maintain meeting room schedules and provide support for setup.
• Offer vacation and sick leave coverage for the front desk as needed.
• Perform general administrative and clerical tasks.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
• Strong customer service skills with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Pleasant and professional telephone voice.
• Positive, confident, and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to occasionally work full days for coverage.
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic experience with word processing software.
