Our Mission
The Northland Symphony Orchestra Association enriches our community through free, high-quality orchestral performances that unite professional and community musicians, while also providing educational opportunities for all.
Purpose
The Fundraising Committee the Board’s efforts to secure contributed revenue in support of the organization’s mission, artistic excellence, and long-term sustainability. In collaboration with staff, fellow board members, and volunteers, the Committee fosters a culture of philanthropy and ensures effective planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising initiatives.
Fundraising Committee Responsibilities

Support implementation of the annual fundraising plan.

Assist with donor identification, outreach, and follow-up.

Participate in events, campaigns, and special projects (e.g., benefit concerts, annual appeal, sponsorships).

Serve as advocates for the organization within the community.

Provide feedback and ideas to strengthen fundraising effectiveness.
