The primary responsibility of the LIHEAP Outreach Specialist is to promote the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The goal is to spread knowledge and understanding of this program, and to assist applicants as needed. The Outreach Specialist acts as a liaison between the community and the staff processing applications and works with applicants who prefer in-person assistance.
